For dance instructors, choreographers and critics of ballet

Dancers, instructors, choreographers and critics of dance can make good use of the Dance&Physics knowledge to improve their own work.

A Dance&Physics class allows dance instructors to understand the physical basis of what they teach. A physics-based ballet class is the best way to stimulate and satisfy students’ curiosity.

For example, the dynamic of movement and the body size are both affected by physics laws. The style and grace of movements change significantly between tall and short dancers performing adagio or allegro movements.

A physical analysis can help choreographers to understand the reasons of the body size effect on movement or to take in consideration how to create an optical illusion to create a graceful choreography with breathtaking movements.

Distinguish between possible and impossible, between real and illusion, provides a valuable tool for critics of dance for evaluating a performance.
