Nice to e-meet you! My name is Lara and I live in Zurich, Switzerland.
I am a former dancer with years of experience on stage, and today I continue to share my passion for dance as a teacher and choreographer.
Dance has always been my lens for exploring creativity, expression, and the subtle language of the body.
Alongside this artistic journey, I pursued the study of Physics, graduating cum laude in 2006 and earring, three year later,a PhD in Biophysics.
My work as a Physicist has allowed me to explore the mechanics of life, motion, and energy at both microscopic and human scales.
By combining these two paths, I bring a unique perspective to teaching and choreography - one that blends the artistic intuition with scientific understanding.
My mission is to help dancers discover the mechanics behind their movements, deepen their body awareness, and unlock possibilities for expression, while demonstrating that science and art are complementary languages of discovery.
Since 2009 I promote the Dance&Physics classes for different audiences like professional dancers, dance students, teachers, and choreographers, critics of dance and anyone who is interested in the dance analysis as vehicle for understanding science.
